The two best handball players in the world of the past two years thus announced the great sporting event, hosted by Qatar from 15 January to 1 February.

Doha Stadium Plus devoted a great deal of attention to the World Handball Championship: they introduced all the national teams, tournament organisation, arenas, championship programme, the highlight matches of the first round and especially pointed out five players who should leave their mark on this championship. Alongside Duvnjak and Karabatić, the cover duo, this distinguished company also includes the Dane Mikkel Hansen, Czech Filip Jicha and the Macedonian Kiril Lazarov.

Interestingly enough, when Denmark was hosting the European championship last year, Domagoj also graced the cover of Doha Stadium Plus, the same as this year. At the official championship poster he ‘pushed’ local star Mikkel Hansen into a supporting role.
