The second of the three goals he scored against Tunisia on Saturday, 17 January, in the second round of group B at the Qatar World Championship, was Domagoj Duvnjak’s 100 th goal in World Championships.

Domagoj Duvnjak is again the best handball player in Croatia according to the traditional selection of the magazine “Sportske novosti” and the Croatian Handball Federation (HRS), 21st of its kind.

In its Saturday issue “Sportske novosti” interviewed Domagoj in their interview of the week. The sports daily cover had Domagoj with the following message: I am beyond prepared for Qatar, and added: I have never been more rested before a major competition.

Domagoj joined the national team at the beginning of the second and final stage of the training camp for the World Championship, which is held at Qatar from 15 January until 1 February.
